A Brief Biography...

Rachael spent the first decade of her life climbing over the San Gabrial mountains of Southern California. She summited Mt. San Antonio, a 10,000+ peak, at the age of 9. She also took her first tentative steps into coding, learning BASIC at this time.

Moving to Fresno, the heart of California's breadbasket, and hiking through the Sierras created new oppportunities to challenge herself. Just as the beauty of the Sierras inspired her heart. She started her path as an artist at an early age dabling in sculpture, beadcraft, watercolors, story-telling, music, and any other media that drew and called to her. She continued these pursuits throughout her life in the Central Valley growing up. After her parent's divorce, she relied on her artistic inclinations to help her process her circumstances in healthy ways.

As an adult, exploring both her desire to continue making art and wanting to do so in a sustainable way lead her to explore digital forms of her favorite media. Early exposure to coding in languages like BASIC, on some of the earliest TRS-80s available, and Pascal, in high school, dovetailed to lead her to the intersection of art and coding, the study of artistic web-development.
